I have experienced this same situation with minor differences. My parents are divorced and I'm always home alone so it was hard to want to do anything. I also don't have a ton of friends and school was stressful with advanced courses and sports. The way I got over things was trying to feel good about myself again. I tried to get in better shape, do better in school, and be closer to the friends I had. Slowly, I stopped feeling as depressed. You said that you want to study art and music, start doing hobbies that you enjoy and relate to your future. I know, this probably sucks to hear, but you need to make your new future, without this person.

What gear ratio should I use on my bicycle?

I recently purchased a single speed bicycle, mainly for fitness purposes. I loved the difficulty of it when I first got it. I was guaranteed a good cardiovascular workout each and every time I rode it. Now that I've gotten stronger, however, I can only really achieve the same workout with frequent sprinting which isn't all that practical. I've been looking at information relating to gear ratios but am totally confused. My tire size is 700 x 23, my cranks are 177 and my front and rear gears are 46 and 16. I'd like for pedaling to be substantially more difficult, but not so difficult that I risk injury, or that the fun is completely eliminated for lack of being able to reach any appreciable speed. I'd also like to avoid going through the trouble of changing the gears only to find that my new setup won't work for some mechanical reason I'm not yet realizing, or that the increase in difficulty is negligible. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated.

Negligible Pool Filter pressure. Is that bad?

I have a Hayward cartridge filter and Hayward dual-speed 1HP pump. The pump is overheating and turning off all the time now (not sure what is the issue but thinking of replacing it rather than fixing it as it is old). In the meantime, we are running the pump at half the speed (it is a dual speed pump) which does not cause overheating until we fix or replace the pump. But running it half the speed reduces the pressure on the filter from 12psi to almost negligible (2-3PSI maybe). I know high pressure is not necessarily good, but is low pressure also a bad thing? I realize not as much water being pumped as quickly, hence the low pressure. We're running the pump almost 24/7.

I usually drink Milk Coffee because I don't really like plain milk, even with sugar. But according to other internet sources, I've heard that you lose four to five milligrams of Calcium with each cup of coffee. I still don't understand why or whether it's from the Milk or actually from your bones (which I find weird for some reason...) but this is a negligible amount and won't affect my bones or Calcium levels adversely if the caffeine is reducing Calcium levels in my bones..., but does this mean that even Milk Coffee is not a substitute for a higher Calcium intake at all? I work for this company for 10 years. Last November while pregnant was out for 2 weeks because I had bronchitis. I give birth the end of January 2011 via c-section. Two and 1/2 months later I had return to work because I kept getting calls about how I needed to return to work as soon as possible because my FMLA time was about to run out. May 15 2011. I was injured while I was at work; my back went out on me while I was helping a client to bring into his room his laundry bag up the stairs. Ambulance was called and I had to be taken to the E.R because I could not walk and was in a lot of pain. I was set to return to work 6/5/11. In the mean time I had given my doctors notes to the manager from the hospital and another doctor’s note from physical therapy. What had happened with my back is that a ligament in my lower back had shifted according to PT. On May 22nd I had to make another trip to the E.R because again I was in excruciating pain, and was given a doctor’s note to return to work 5/29/11. I started going to PT 5/24/11. Unfortunately I got into a car accident on 5/31/11. I and my first son 3yr old were injured. I call my former manager the next day after the accident and explained to her that I was in a car accident, and originally I was scheduled to start work June5th but I won’t be able to and that I have a doctor’s note from the E.R which I fax to her on June 2nd, explaining that I would need to be out for a few days. During the conversation, I could hear the frustration in the manager's voice and I felt she didn't believe that I was in a car accident. She then just told me, well ok I will let human resources know, feel better, then we hang up the phone. June 4th 2011, one day before I was supposedly scheduled to start work, I got a letter from the company stating that I am now removed from my full time position due to my own serious health condition and that as of June 6th 2011 my position was no longer available to me. No one contacted me nor even gave me a chance to argue or to even save my position. The note continued on to say that I would be place in a relief position {relief means, I would be contacted for work when needed}. June 6th 2011 I called Human resources of that company wanted to speak to the director who is in charge of hiring and firing people, would not even speak to me and had redirected my calls to the director of benefits and compensation. I scheduled an appointment the next day with the director of benefits. During the meeting I ask her who's decision was it to removed me from my position, she told me, when she spoke to my manager she was under the impression that I told the manager I was not coming back to work indefinitely, I responded to her, I never told the manager such thing. I then went on to ask her will I be able to get unemployment she responded "No". And that I am still employed but as a relief employee. I then went on to say to her, relief is not going to pay my bill and after 10 years of my services, working all crazy hours almost all holidays working for them trying to help them out when they are short of staff, could I be treated in such manners. She told me well “get a doctors letter giving the dates you are able to return to work and we will activate you on the relief list. I simply told her ok, and then I exited the room. Originally I had an appointment to see my PCP on June 8th 2011. I was given a not to return to work June 12th 2011, I purposely never sent that letter to them because at that point to me it didn't matter anymore they had "fire me" from my position, and that started June 6th my position was not available to me. When I spoke to a former co-worker of mine, He told me they had already given my position to another employee that was working there. I file for Unemployment anyways, I recently got a call back from unemployment telling me they are refusing to pay unemployment because I “Voluntarily quit", It's not true, these people made the assumption I was in poor health, and not given any chance FIRED ME. With all that being said my question to you is with all information given will I be able to file a law suit against that company? Pregnant, complicated situation, advice needed!?

I just found out that I am going on 2 months pregnant. The father and I have been together for about a year and a half. I love him, but we've been arguing a bit recently, and now THIS. Here's the big problem: We live in a separate state from the rest of my family. I am trying to get back into college and working full time. HE got laid off from his job and isnt having much luck finding a new one. My mother told me that if I wanted to keep the baby, we are more than welcome to come up there and stay with her and start fresh, and that way I wont have to pull all the weight. But my boyfriend is pretty much adamant that I need to get an abortion, because we cant afford a baby right now and he refuses to move out of state "just so that we can have the baby" and insists that I'm "being selfish" to expect him to do such a thing. And I understand that's a drastic change, but my thing is, shouldn't the baby be worth it? Its not like I sedated and raped him either, we did this TOGETHER. And if moving is our only option for the time being so be it! I just dont know if I can personally HANDLE an abortion. I tried to go to the clinic and I just cant. Am I wrong for wanting to keep the baby and basically telling him if he wants to be part of its life he has to move out of state? When it comes to helping out a family member where does the line get drawn? Won't it be logical to draw the ground rules in the beginning? If the parents are vegetarian, then yes, they should raise their kid with what they eat to make it easier. If not, my child would have to be a teenager (13) to decide that. I think I've lost control (maybe I never had it to lose).My husband needs help and can't seem to come to terms he may be suffering with depression. I don't think being famous and a celebrity is all cracked up like it seems. Yeah, it might seem nice to be famous and the advantages are everyone knows you, you get frebbies, you become rich, you mingle and become friends with other celebs and you get invited to the hottest parties, but celebrity life can be not that great. The more famous you are the more people know you, you're constantly in the press and you have NO private life, your private life is always being reported on so everyone can read some juicy gossip and you have to have thick skin & some back bone, because some people are rude about celebrities and they say nasty things. I'm taking over as the DSD reciever at my job for a week, since the usual reciever is on vacation. Unfortunately, I've lost a set of important keys for the job. I've tried looking for it in my room, since the keys were attached to my pants, but I can't find them. I already let the usual reciever and the manager of the store know. The manager doesn't want to let Loss Prevention know, because he says they'll go "ape-****," but I don't think I'll find the keys like he wants me to. The only other place they could be would be somewhere on the floor between my job to my house--since I normally walk to work; I've already tried retracing my steps to look for them and I haven't found anything. I'm thinking of putting up signs and offering a reward for the keys, but we honestly need a new set of keys and locks for the store anyway. Don't get me wrong; I know losing the keys is no excuse for me to point out that we need new locks. I've just been having a terrible week and I'm really confused as to what to do. Any advice?

Vibration on Audi A4 Avant Quattro 1.8T starting at 50MPH?

I have recently acquired a second hand Audi A4 Quattro Avant 1.8T with AVJ engine. All is fine with the vehicle except with one noticeable problem; a vibration that starts at about 50MPH going all the up to 80MPH on the front passenger wheel. I did not try going faster than that as I think it might be unsafe to do so. The problem occurs ONLY when accelerating. i.e. driving at 50MPH downhill does not cause any vibration what so ever, however driving 50MPH uphill causes the vibration. The vibration gets more violent with increasing speed. The vibration is considerably more noticeable when on FIFTH GEAR; is present on third gear but negligible. My mechanic have replaced the Track Rod End, inspected the wheel bearing and Bushes; all is fine. We have replaced wheels, done wheel balancing. Nothing helped. What could it be? Any help and suggestion will be much appreciated.
