Do you find it insulting when straight people say...?

I'm personally not gay but I find it extremley ignorant when straight people make fun of gay people because some of my friends that are gay are the best people I know. But in this case I think it is something that is said without really thinking about it..I know I've said it once or twice and if it ever offended anybody I apologized
