I may have a weird mental disorder, help?

I'll explain further, I see people, things anything animate in random places like sitting but these people all sound farmiliar, and it's not furniture cause they're always in chairs or in a open space.... Anyway I hear voices talking and saying stuff that makes sense to me for a moment then I forget it, and when I look back to stare at them or talk to them I see nothing, I wouldn't go to doctor cause then thy would put me on some type of physco medication which I don't fancy, but I also hear voices in my head arguing with my main thoughts.
