It looks like I'll probably have one of the heavy days of my period on my wedding day?

Wait until you are completely finished with your period and that is out of the way and you will feel better and you can start that part of your marriage with no thoughts to anything else. It will be a mess if you try while having your period. I would prefer the first time to be special.
